Wir besuchen mal wieder das C/O-Berlin. Dieses Mal mit Julian Rosefeldt. Der deutsche Künstler und Regisseur bringt eine Werkschau ins C/O-Berlin mit Arbeiten aus den letzten 30 Jahren. Innerhalb dieser Werkschau werden wiederkehrende Motive in Rosefeldts Arbeit erforscht. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Idee von Wiederaufnahme und Zitation von Werken anderer Kunstschaffender. Dies findet sich bereits im Ausstellungstitel, welcher aus einem Zitat des amerikanischen Filmemachers Jim Jarmusch kommt.

Danach geht es, wie immer, in eine Bar zum entspannten nach Gespräch und Abend ausklingen lassen.

We are visiting C/O Berlin once again, this time with Julian Rosefeldt. The German artist and director is bringing a retrospective to C/O Berlin featuring works from the last 30 years. Within this retrospective, recurring motifs in Rosefeldt’s work are highlighted. The focus is on the idea of revisiting and quoting the works of other artists. This is already evident in the exhibition title, which comes from a quote by American filmmaker Jim Jarmusch.

Afterwards, as always, we’ll head to a nearby bar to unwind, chat, and share our impressions in a relaxed setting.
